I have now failed for the third, year in succession to get elephant garlic to grow, I have onions, shallots and ordinary garlic doing well in the same prepared bed, I work a four year rota system on my allotment, any ideas? Thanks, Roger

Elephant garlic often takes two years to grow to full size, Roger. Are the bulbs just too small, or is something more extreme going on?

Thanks for that, I bought the bulbs from the local garden centre and they seemed pretty big to me, they just haven't sprouted,

When did you put them in? I planted mine last September to give them plenty of time. They are about 3 ft tall now and starting to flower, huge plants.

How do I say thanks?
