I am trying to find a rose named after my grandfather. It is called Charles F Warren and was raised by Oliver Mee in the early 1960's. It is a cross between Karl Herbst and Wilfrid Pickles and had good reviews after its trial at the NRS ground at St. Albans.
My youngest daughter gets married next May and I would love Grandad's rose in her bouquet. Unfortunately, those we had died off during house moves.
Could you let me know if there are suppliers who may have these old roses in stock or, alternatively, give me any ideas of appealing to a wide audience of rose lovers who may have one of these roses established in their garden.

I'm sure that you have already tried the RHS...but if all else fails, you could try contacting someone like Alan Titmarsh (not sure if I spelled it correctly!)...a person in his position is bound to have contacts... and nothing ventured, nothing gained! Hope you're successful, bon courage.
