I hav a candle mag which had 2 flowers on in spring.Now however it is loaded with buds . What should I do, take them off or hope for a v v v mild winter. Thanks for any suggestions. Mike

Magnolias do often produce more flowers in the autumn - mine has some buds on it, but whether they'll open is doubtful in view of the weather. I should leave them and see what happens!
