My friend has a dwarf azalia kept in a pot, this is the 3rd year but very few flowers this year only greenery, previously plenty of flowers, what's the problem?

Potentially lots of problems...

Rhodo has outgrown pot

Not enough water

Rhodo was not protect from the bad weather over winter

Rhodo has not been fed since planting

Sorry the list goes on and on...

Azaeleas are Rhododendrons in case you are confused.

It may have been pruned too late in the previous summer...as MG says, the list goes on.
