Not sure I agree as lots of annuals can be nipped out to make them bushier and to get more flowers. Can I ask what you are growing?

Thanks for info. I am growing principally marigolds from seed and also some asters, poppys and nasturtums in a mini greenhouse -all looking good but marigolds are looking "leggy"

I always nip out the growing shoots in Marigolds or they dont bush out and can look 'Leggy.' Nasturtiums are poor soil plants and do best with a little neglect!

No you don,t need to pinch the growing point out, but if you have grown them in a greenhouse you need to start hardening them off now for planting them out at the end of the month, once they,re planted out they should start to bush out. regards Derek
