I have got a selection of sweet peas growing in pots. Some are a bit leggy. Would I be ok at this stage to trim them back and when is it safe to plant them outside. I have just started hardening them off.

Thanks

My sweet peas were planted out mid may....they are extremely hardy and the colder the conditions the better.
Have you got side shoots showing on your plants. If so, you can remove any growth above the strongest 2 shoots and grow those on.
If no side shoots, cut the plant above the 3rd pair of leaves to encourage the side shoots to form.

How do I say thanks?
