My 6 year old pear tree has blossomed and fruit is growing but the leaves are covered in black spots some have started to shrivel and fall off

You haven't said that the fruits are being affected, nor described any other symptoms - this could just be Leaf Spot, either bacterial or viral, or sooty mould, or a result of drought if you live in the south, don't know where you are.
