I think this is a wild meadow flower use to pick them in the fields myself as a child, somehow it got into one of my empty pots, probably by birds, what is the name of it please?

Agreed - the hedgerows in Cornwall are full of it at the moment - they look glorious in May.

i have it in my garden too it looks lovely. It is in one of the wilder areas.
