I have been tidying my garden after the winds. Snowdrop bulbs are close to the surface. I don't want to disturb them or split them this year but I would like to feed them with potash. Would it harm the bulbs if I scattered potash? Should I make up a liquid and feed them that way? Should I put mixture of compost and potash over them?
I'd be very grateful for advice.

The foliage has died back on our snowdrops so feeding will not achieve anything, as Sbg says. This needs to be done around March just as they finish flowering.

i usually do a foliar feed straight after flowering. if they are now just bulbs then they wont absorb any of the nutrients until they are in active growth again.
