my sunflower seedlings are drooping and i have used sticks to support them,why is this happening,thanks

Answers
Sticks are the wrong way to go anyway. As long as they are getting enough light and water, they will stand up by themselves. Staking will only weaken them, and make the droop worse. With lack of water, they will straighten up once they get a good soaking. If it is lack of light, giving them more light will encourage some of them to stand up again, but they will always have a funny bend at the base.
