I have three apple trees [Worcester, James Grieve and Bramley]which I bought and planted two years ago. This year they have produced lots of fruit and, so far all three trees have kept their fruit despite being buffeted by really high winds. Over the last few days, the Worcester has developed a lot of really curled leaves. Is this due to the wind or is it a sign of something wrong?

Also look for aphids on the undersides of the new leaves--they could be distorting the new foliage.

sounds like you need to start spraying early and through the summer this will keep down apple leaf curl and apple scab problems. good luck
