IF I HAVE CUT BACK ORCHID TOO FAR WILL IT SPROUT FROM ROOT?

It won't shoot from the roots, Louvane, but it is very likely to produce a new flower stem from between two healthy leaves. Watch out for a tiny 'bump' to emerge and you'll be surprised how fast it grows! So don't worry. Just be patient.

If nothing happens in about a month, take your plant into a slightly cooler room and leave it there for 3 weeks. This often encourages them to grow another stem!
