Please tell me, if i bought seeds of this foxglove next week, put them straight into pots to germinate...would they flower next year?

Hi, ok so there is enough time in this year for flowers next year. What if i where to plant seeds in say, july or august and the plants only had a couple of months growth, would that be enough time to make up the first years growing season.
(a cut of date, after which such plants would not be left enough time for flowers the next year?)

Get some planted without delay. The sooner you do it the more growing time they will have

They need to be well established before the soil freezes, Funguy, if only to keep from being heaved out.

as the plant sets it seeds in july / august you wiull be fine. but the fresher the seed the better really.
