i am living in Lorraine near Belgium and Luxembourg and the temperature is cold now
i want << taking cutting for propagation >> the some Spiraea and Buddleja davidii i think i can do during the summer but i don't want wait 1 more year

I think you are a bit late now but you could try. I think that the summer is better but perhaps you may get lucky.

You can take hardwood cuttings of Spiraea and Buddleja now.

Yes Wagger. In Marlow. As I said, Alexandre may get away with it. I tried Buddleia cuttings last year for a neighbour's daughter in October. No chance in Yorkshire. And I am not a novice. Nothing to stop her trying though as I said.

Marlow is in the county of Buckinghamshire in southern England Alexandre. I used to live there when I practiced in London some years ago. It was very comfortable for gardening. Practically USDA zone 9b.

Do you mean taking cuttings for propagation or cutting back excess growth (pruning) Alexandre? What part of France are you in? And lastly, if it is for propagation, what is the plant you want to take cuttings from?
