Hey guys.
Can anyone tell me if this is a weed that has appeared in my trough? Had some snapdragons in there last year and thought it might be this but the leaves have different markings to the snapdragons.

A very common weed. Pull it out. Yes it looks like a willow herb but it if it seeds it will be even more of a nuisance.

Tends to like undisturbed soil, remove it but this may be an indication that you need to give some attention to the pot its growing in.

Ahhhh thank you guys. There's only last year winter pansies (still growing aswell, lol) in the trough so gonna empty the whole thing out and add new compost. That should do the trick! lol

Trough contents now in bag ready for tip at the weekend. Now got a bare trough to plants new flowers! YAY!!!

If you have a garden don't throw your old compost away - spread it on your flower beds to improve the soil.

Looks like a willow herb to me and I'd be removing as if it flowers and sets seed you have for ever.
