I suspect the plant you are looking at is: Loropetalum chinense f. rubrum 'Fire Dance' - not a Witch Hazel at all and another example of lazy & inaccurate labelling in pursuit of a profit....
It could also be Hamamelis x intermedia 'Feuerzauber', which some sellers mis-translate as 'Firedance'.
The true Chinese Witch Hazel is Hamamelis mollis, a different plant again.
Assuming the plant your looking at is the Loropetalum, then it's a pretty, evergreen shrub that reaches around 6 feet in ideal conditions. We've tried it a couple of time here in the garden but each has been killed by cold - it's not hugely hardy in the UK. The plant is quite widely available, and the price you've quoted is about right, although they would be fairly small specimens in 2 litre pots.
