I planted a load of runner beans 3 weeks ago and they just started to come up. I went to water them this morning and they are all gone! something has had them.
Am I too late to put some more in now?

Answers
Always best to start them off in pots or trays. Plant them out when about six inches high. Sprinkle some slug pellets around. Sow the seeds every 3 to 4 weeks and you will get a longer cropping season. Still not too late to replant.

Pushing the end of the sowing season a bit but you should still get a crop off them, weather permitting. Try and take some precaution against slugs, though!!!!!
