I have recently laid a new lawn and part of my soil before turfing was spongy/sinking, the rest was hard. I removed this soil and filled it with fresh soil and now after laying turf it has happened again in the same spot. When standing on it, instead of being normal it feels like you are sinking and moving? Please help

Hmm, seems to me there's a reason why that area was soft and spongy in the first place - there's something going on underneath the soil, either a leaking pipe or a hidden spring, or that's just the area where water from the rest of the garden drains to. Depending on what you think is the most likely cause, it may be necessary to remove the turf in that area and excavate the soil to see precisely what is going on underneath to see if it can be corrected.
