Can you get mange tout seeds from the veggies themselves? I found a couple of articles online but am unsure as to whether to plant the actual pods once wrinkled or to take the seeds from the pods- aware that this is probably a ridiculous question, but we're total beginners. :-)

if you leave some pods to grow and peas develop inside then you can plant them. You leave the pod to dry on the plant and then pick it shell the peas and when they are totally dry store them in cool dry conditions until next year.

mange tout is an undeveloped pea. so when you plant peas you can pick the developing pods before the peas form inside. This thins the crop but don't pick too many if you want the peas.
