Hope you had a good Christmas.
Your ground has been poisoned by the fresh horse manure.
Spread a dressing of lime 4oz. to the square yard over the plot, leave for 2 weeks to weather in. Then trench dig the plot through leaving surface rough.
In March sow the plot with mustard, when 4inches to 6inches high, dig in as green manure.
Grow brassicas only on the plot this year. Leave root crops till 2010.
