Hi, I have just found a White Marked Tussock Moth Caterpillar on one of my Marigolds in garden, I live in Essex and when I looked it up they are normally in america and are poisonous, is this right. I picked it up to show my husband and he also handled it. Will it make us ill? Pam

Aren't they beautiful. Some of them can leave you with a painful rash but if it hasn't appeared its not going to now. Children shouldn't be encouraged to touch them because of this.
