Can anyone tell us if our 2 Olive trees are about to produce olives? This year they have been covered with lots of little white flowers the most we've ever seen-now the flowers are beginning to drop. Does this mean that olives will follow?
It's been a dry spring and summer in the south of London-is there anything we should be doing to encourage or help the growth of olives?

If you are going to get olives, some of those spikes of flowers will stay, with one to several baby green olives attached. It will then be a race with the frost to see if they will turn black. For best results, feed lightly and regularly, and never let the leaves curl with drought.

If you have flowers, the chances are that you will get olives.
