If its the bottom leaves, Noseypotter is right - the bottom leaves do change colour, go brown and eventually fall off on their own if you don't pull or cut them off. But I'm confused - in your previous question, you said the bottom leaves were going green, which would imply you have a red/purplish brown Cordyline.

its natural for cordalines to have old leaves at the bottem going brown to be replaced bye the new ones you mention . also the 2 harsh winters weve had havnt helped .
