ID'S FOR TWO PLANTS PLEASE
The first has been growing a long while in that pot.
It seems to be very slow-growing.. maybe some kind of hebe ?
Shall I keep it or discard it ?
The second is one of three I bought in B&Q today... quite a small pot .. they were selling £1 each for the final three...
Not sure if a miniature holly... Will this remain as quite a small shrub ? Grow in sun or shade ? Dry or damp ?
Thanks in advance for answering my questions :o)

Thanks... Yes, I snapped up the three at £1 each, but want to plant them in the right place !

The first one may be a Camellia perhaps ?

If so, I guess it would prefer acidic compost... the leaves are quite small ... about three quarters of an inch long at the most...

Top one looks a very ill Camellia to me as well - pot it up into ericaceous and give it a shadier spot, keep it watered.

is the lower pic. holly, not osmanthus ?

I'd have said holly.

If the stems are green and not a bronzy brown, then it is holly.

Don't know about the first one, but the second one is certainly a Holly of some sort, I think it looks quite attractive. :o)
