I HAVE A 30FT CORDYLINE WITH FIVE TRUNKS, ON THREE OF THE TRUNKS THERE ARE GREEN SIDE SHOOTS SOME ARE NOW 18" LONG WHILE OTHERS ARE JUST SMALL SHOOTS. DO I REMOVE THESE ,OR CAN THEY BE PROPAGATED ? MANY THANKS ROY

You can leave them to grow on or remove them - but check first that the tops of the trunks are growing healthily, not looking poor or stunted. If the tops aren't looking great, then cut back down to where the new growth is - damage from the winter may have occurred. You can't grow them on without getting a good piece of root with them, and that's not possible when they arrive on the trunk.
