These are my lupins now.I have asked many questions about them and have plotted their progress with you.I was wondering if they look ok in these pots..shall I leave them in these pots ..I do bring them out in the day..shall I leave them out all the time..they are too small to plant out arn't they? Will I eventually have to pot them inot bigger pots? when can I put them in the ground or will I need to store keep over winter to get bigger? what should I do..thankyou.

Scatter a few slug pellets around after planting, as slugs and snails love these when newly planted. Only use a few and don't put them too near the stems as they attract slugs (so they will eat them and die!) so you don't want them getting at the Lupins! What will you try to grow from seed next, I wonder? Isn't gardening fun!

They look ready to go in the garden to me too. You could go out with a torch at night and remove slugs and snails from anywhere near them, or where you are going to plant them out - starting as soon as you can, and keeping it up til the plants are a good bit bigger. If you stamp on the slugs & snails they won't come back and torment you.

If you have been putting the pots out every day I would suggest your next step is to plant them in the ground, there shouldn't be frost at this time of year. My parents grew lupins and never had them in pots at all they let a little of the seed fall to the ground and were simply careful not to weed the seedlings out.
