Did anyone watch this weeks program on Channel 5 Garden ER. What a fab show. Does anyone know where I can buy 2 large face shaped planters for the garden? There is a home page for the gardening show I found plant pots but not the ones with faces on, shown on the show

Sorry, there's been so little we've wanted to watch in the last year or so that we've got rid of our TV. Much more time to do other things now. :-)

Hi Great, if you go back to the site and click on last weeks programme you will see a list of suppliers click on that and the list comes up under Beach Garden.
Well I never I just googled - head shaped planters and up came - TERRAZZO EASTER ISLAND HEAD PLANTER GARDEN ORNAMENT for under £30 on Ebay
and there are loads if you google Easter Island Garden Statues £3. up to £900.
Good luck

Hope you get what you want Great? they will make quite a statement, I think they would look good with grasses.
I will watch TV gardening programmes (when I remember they are on) Louise, as I like to see what others do and it would be boring if they were not controversial.

Louise 1, thank you for thinking of me. That makes me smile!
DRC726 I have checked out the retailers list and the company have moved or something. I googled the name of the heads but can't, as yet, find the same ones. I went to Phoebies garden centre who had something similar but it wasen't right for my garden. Don't laugh I nearly came home with 2 chickens and a coop!!!! But in the end I thought the neighbours and the council would complain!!!!!
I watched GW the other night and saw grasses called Miscanthus would that be suitable for my small garden? I thought I may divide the veg beds from the seating part of the garden. Grasses going across the width of the garden??

Hi Great, I was going to ask you if you have seen Lilcrawford's head pots they are wonderful. Either put the Lilcrawfords profile in the search box or go to the bottom of the page select F then select flower pots and you will find her on there.
Today, I saw there is a house for sale near York and the garden is 3/4 of a mile long but the snag is its only 30 feet wide!
Great -Please dont give up on your head idea as they can be stunning and make a great statement.

Well, I dunno what to say - Drc did a blog on Thursday about this, and we've all slated it big time, but at least someone liked it. I couldn't watch more than 15 minutes I'm afraid (the pond planting was good) so I don't know what the planters looked like...
