The good news is that it is easily pulled out. It'll come back, but just keep pulling it out, preferably before it sets seed at the top.

The common name for it is Cleavers

Or goosegrass or sticky willies, that is the problem with common names they change depending where you live!

Whatever you do pull it out before it gets the little sticky seed heads on it or you will have even more next year!

I have this "crap" all over my flower beds. And it does overwhelm my flowers. It is so annoying to pull it sticks to everything. How do I stop it from coming back?

Not sure you can, just keep pulling it out when you see it.

It is an annual so just make sure you remove every bit before it sets seed. I find I always miss a bit but there's a lot less than there was.
