We have cut down a rhodo shrub and want to remove the root but it is too deep down so we are unable to dig it out. I think there is something to spray on which is supposed to kill roots. Has anyone used it and does it work?

Hi Casso I am surprised your rhodo is deep rooted normally they are shallow rooted. You will need to drill holes in the stump and fill with SBK and then cover with plastic tied tight to allow the rotting process to take place - do not let the SBK get on anything else!

Thank you Moon grower. That sounds a bit complicated. Perhaps our problem is tha the ground is hard and difficult to move about. A neighbour has offered to help.
