Pretty slow for me just now. It was much faster just 1/2 hour ago.

Drove me crazy last night, even Google told me it was a 'slow site' not had that before. Tonight is now taking so long to turn a page I am going to give up and try later- shame.

Gave up at 9 last night ... fine this evening.

other members like bamboo had the same problem the other day but touch wood so far im fine .

I gave up last night took too long to load anything.

I tried again later but I had to give up.

I'm one of those lucky guys who's got super-fast broadband [50MB] and this particular site is nowhere near as quick as other sites even for me. I'm also lucky enough to live in NW London which means that my download speed remains high.

All of which must mean that this site must be pretty slow for many users because the GoY servers are nowhere near good enough. I'd suggest that anyone finding the site slow, complains.

Hi Bodger it never used to be like this then the boys allowed folk to upload high res large photos... guess what happened. For web use you only need a low res image.

I did write to them about a month ago, they are aware that at certain times when everyone is using it that it is slower!!!

They need to extend the bandwidth - particularly with all the adverts...

I agree Moon grow - all these sites that grow are the same You never know, though, someone from GoY might read all this and actually do something instead of fobbing off people like Drc726 with pat answers!
