When my chilli plant has fruited do I throw the plant away or does it go on year on year.

You will need to grow a new one for next year.

I would try taking cuttings from the old one before you throw it away. Worth a try.

Cuttings don't often work, but the plants can live for several years, if they don't freeze! The older and woodier the plants get, though, the smaller the chilis get.

How do I say thanks?
