I have a pomegranate grown from a pip, but ,although it has survived outside for six years,it isn't getting any bigger. It is only 2 foot tall and the most it has ever reached is 3foot I have it in a large pot as I'm scared to put it into the ground. It just seems to get knocked back by the winter.Has anyone managed to grow one to a decent height. If so, iwould love to hear from you

thanks Ojib, not what I wanted to hear, but I had my suspicions, as every winter knocks it back.

« Hi guys,I'm back lol. Thanks again for all of your help with raised beds,They...
The only pomegranates I've seen growing and fruiting have been in the Mediterranean, so I think you have done well to keep it so long. I doubt, although I don't really know, if conditions in this country would allow it to fruit. I suspect it needs intense summer heat and mild winters.
