Hi every body, We have a "ALSTROEMERIA BONANZA" perennial plant, which is situated outside I am lead to believe that it will require frost protection.
can anyone inform me , do I prune it back at the back-end or shall I leave it alone, also can anyone one give me any further information?

Most are hardy down to 10degrees C, but you could mulch them to be on the safe side. You can also dig some up and overwinter in the greenhouse where they may well flower in winter for you. You can cut off the dead flower stalks but leave the basal leaves.
