Hello Hardy Geranium enthusiasts.....are you there Barbara? ;).....any idea what this one is anyone? It has a flower that looks a lot like 'Summer Snow' but as you can see, the leaves are totally different.....Grown from a pack of 'mixed' seed, hence the difficulty in identification. Thanks!

I think it may be G. pyrenaicum f. albiflorum, Karen. Very like our Bill...and Invergen could well be right, it's hard to say for sure as the two plants are related.
Do a google and see what you think.

Thank you both! I will.

I think it is ...one of those!....no seriously, I think it looks more like albiflorum when I look at the pics . on google. Difficult though....but Spritz did send me a bill wallis and I think the leaves are a bit different to this. It will be easier to tell for sure, once it has matured a bit and I have a better idea of the habit....it's very pretty though. Thanks again.

If it does seed itself, I haven't got this one, hint hint. LOL.

Yes, quite! Hint taken! Bendtsen says little about the species except that it is prolific in seed and a bit of a thug.

I was going to say that in my first answer. I really liked G Bill Wallis initially with its dainty little flowers as it scrambled through neighbouring plants but it has become a little bit of a menace ( a thug as your geranium book says ) because it is seeding everywhere and I am less enamoured than i was to begin with so I suspect your close relation to it will do the same.

I'm still fond of Bill! I don't mind his 'bad' habits, as I think they're outweighed by the 'good' ones. LOL.

Yes, I find Bill is very pleasant at the roots of my roses....but perhaps in a couple of years I will be cursing him! :)) I've just hauled out heaps of Ajuga because I could not get the campanula punctata seedlings out of it!

Looks like it might be Geranium pyrenaicum Bill Wallis.
I was given some with mauve flowers but when I split it the new ones have flowered white like yours.
