Unlike,As told to be a poinsettia by many experienced gardeners,this plant has leaves curled down-in-wards instead of straight leaves as shown in pictures of poinsettia on web.

It is a Euphorbia pulcherrima. That is the only species I am aware of. Its common name is 'Poinsettia'.
