Why do my grapes not grow to a standard size but remain small. The vine is cut back each year and it produces lots of foilage and grapes but they never grow larger than peas?

yes y thoughts too MG. do you reduce the number of grapes per bunch by a 1/3 shortly after the grapes form? it is a faff to do but you get bigger grapes and less mould too.

Also, some commercial varieties are routinely sprayed with gibberellic acid to enlarge the fruit for presentation at the grocer's. Without the spraying, pea-sized is the best that you can do, but they still taste good.

Are you limiting the number of bunches of grapes? Making sure that they get plenty of sunlight?
