Any suggestions for self seeding plants?
I'm moving to a new build house so will be starting from scratch and want to quickly build up a supply of plants (annuals and others). Thanks.

Verbena bonariensis, Alyssum (the annual one now reclassified as Lobularia maritima, but still sold as Alyssum in box bedding form), Nigella, Forget Me Nots, nasturtiums and Calendula. The trick, though, is to recognise what they are when tiny seedlings in Spring and not hoe them out...

Consider - Nigella 'love in a mist' pink, white and blues, Alyssum,Lobularia maritima, Bachelor’s Buttons Cornflower Centaurea cyanus, California Poppy Eschscholzia, Clarkia, Coreopsis tinctoria 'Calliopsis', Iberis sempervirens candytuft.

What do you mean by Bachelor's Buttons, Drc? Just that here, it appears to be the common name for Kerria japonica....

Thanks very much for all your suggestions. I'll try out as many as I can and hopefully the garden will be overflowing in no time!

@Bamboo....I know Bellis as Bachelor's Buttons as well. No one mentioned Alchemilla Mollis or Evening Primrose.

Ooh, and Honesty... and Bellis, well, never heard it called Batchelor's Buttons.

Viola too. The hybrids can be interesting self seeders, often reverting back to the dominant parent

I gave the full name Bamboo! 'Bachelor’s Buttons Cornflower Centaurea cyanus,'.

How about some Red Hot Poker, Rudbekia,Blanket Flower and Echinachea. These die down each winter but come back again in abundance.
Rose Campion is a lovely one that self seeds though.
Hope this is some help to get you started.
Sorry about the spelling.

Nobody said Welsh poppy - and some of the big double orange poppies too(don't know what they're called) And forget me not.

I said Forget me not (Myosotis), Steragram, not that it matters - Drc, wasn't clear from your original answer that the 'batchelor's buttons' referred to Centaurea, and fancy that, that's 3 plants, entirely unrelated, which have the same common name.
