My carrots are covererd with fleece, but something is gnawing on them. The leaves are in tact but they are enjoying the orange part above ground. Help please.
They also grown in a raised bed.

Don't know, I don't grow carrots and we have cats around anyway. You could try a pussycat but there's no guarantee! Just remembered I deterred field voles by sprinkling chilli pepper liberally around the shrub they were eating - worth a try, as they definitely won't like it!
