Re dahlias. I planted some dwarf/mini dahlias in April this year. Can I leave them where they are over the winter or should I lift them and store them for next year? Thanks.

hi i set some seeds last year and they all flowered well them cut them down in the back end and left them in the ground nearly all came this year after the winter we had down to -15.i will be doing the same this year.so it is up. to you.you know your own winters. hope this helps good luck.

Beattie and Kennyboy - I think I will leave them like Kennyboy did and take a chance. I don't fancy lifting them so I will cover them with leaves as extra protection. Our winters here in Brussels aren't too cold but you never can tell. Thanks to you both.
