My Bay Tree looks terrible, the leaves have all died along with the tips of the shoots, I expect this was a result of the harsh winter. It is growing in a pot and is about 2 foot high. Should I prune it or leave it alone and hope it recovers for next year?

I'd leave it alone, but protect the rootball if the weather gets severe again - wrap bubble wrap round the pot.

If you prune it now and it starts into new growth, the shoots would be vulnerable to frosts.

How do I say thanks?
