RHUBARB!!!!
Where is the best place to aquire a Rhubarb plant. Mine has now demised and as we love it so much I would like a new plant for the next season. We live in 'The Rhubarb Triangle' so know it will grow well. Specimens in garden centres look so poor.

Buy from an on-line seller or see if someone local will give you part of their crown

Toreybear, my rhubarb crowns have almost finished now and look like brown tufts in the earth.

The ones I've seen in the GC's look almost dead, but I'm sure they will grow next year.

Pimpernel. they say that Yorkshire men are tighter than a ducks bottom. Those who have allotments guard their goods with arms of steel and take their gardening secrets to the grave. I jest not. LOL .

Just off to get my tin hat before the yorkshire lads reply, one other thing they don't like is smart a***d woman.

Sorry Jacksondscar, the honor of best beer goes to 'Marstons Pedigree' from Burton on Trent, however to taste it at it's best you really have to go to the Derby area.

And I agree, friendly yes. generous hmm sometimes. Well just straighten my tin hit, ready for the next round.
