Surfina cuttings.

A few weeks ago I bought some Surfina petunia plants in tiny little pots from our local B&Q, potted them on into three inch pots and placed them on my kitchen windowsill. They seemed to like it there because they have really taken off in a big way but they are now getting quite tall and leggy. Has anyone any experience of taking cuttings and can it be done, I will have to take the tops off at least and if I can use them to create new plants that will be great. Thanks guys!

Thanks Marybush,
Just didnt want to waste my time, I have taken Geranium cuttings before with some success so I will give it a go.
Cheers

you must be joking! I garden with a trowel in one hand and a book in the other, but thanks anyway. mary

I took loads last year and they root quite easily, but it was a bit later in the year, and I gave them a bit of bottom heat. mary
