usually spring though I get the odd flower through the year. You may get a flower but I suspect it will be next year now.

They can be prolific self seeders. It pays to deadhead a couple of times each week if you don't want to be overrun with them. BTW, the Latin name is meconopsis cambrica

It's a Welsh poppy TT - I have loads of them in my garden. They're very pretty and look like a tall buttercup. Personally I like them and just let them self-seed.
