I struggle to grow them, lost the last 2. Any tips Dee, Moongrower, Bulb? I know they like the damp, wonder if my soil is too heavy, growing some from seed at the moment, they have been slow to germinate and grow, still tiny. Would like any tips you can give me, would like them around my pond.

There are different species, D, and some are more vigorous than others. Our 'thug', don't know the species, is in moist, humus rich soil in part shade. Have to dig bits of it up each year to control it.

Hi B - from what you've said, I think I need to give mine more shade and some humus rich soil. Thank you.
