do you leave skyscrapper lillies to die back or cut back ours are in pots.how to protect bulbs over winter thanks from ike (im a newby at this)

With lilies, it's best to let the foliage die back, to feed the bulbs. When the stems are dry, they'll pull off easily. You need to label the pots if the lilies are different ones, leave them in a sheltered corner, and repot the bulbs in the spring.

If you're in a very cold area, then wrap bubble wrap around the pots to stop the bulbs/compost from freezing, and if you have a cold greenhouse or a coldframe, tuck them in there.
