Plant ID's please?
I've just purchased some bargain pots from Ebay and the seller has left the plants in them. The only thing I recognise is the Fuschia, could someone kindly have a look and see what else I have inherited so I can decide whether to save them or sling them?
Thank you

white flower in the second photo looks like an ivy leaf geranium [pelargonium] it is not hardy but you can keep it going in a cool frost free place.

We may have a hardy geranium in photo 1 at 12-5 0'Clock.
Photo 2 has a standard...Hard to tell looks like a rose. Two? patio roses in the blue pot.

Hi Faye frankly I think you have wasted your money - they all look like annuals to me!

She has not wasted her money Moon grower...It was the planters Faye bought the planters. The plants are a bonus thrown in. Even if they end up as compost the planters were the bargain.

True enough if she bought the planters rather than the plants.

Yep It was the planters, I have a pot collection that I wanted to add to. If all the plants are annuals that will be why I don't recognise them, I don't 'do' annuals lol

I am being tempted to buy some stunning looking Iris on ebay at the moment. Thing is the images used are stock pictures....I do have a great garden centre where I can see and feel them. But they are three times the price...Tempted

Not me... I've never bought a plant of e-bay and have no intention of doing so...

In theory Moon Grower...It should be like buying from Thompson & Morgan. A big catalogue to browse a select with a cup of tea and a biscuit...
I don't think I will ...My garden centre has a Three year Guarantee on all shrubs, it is that good. But........

to be fair I have bought quite a few plants from ebay, a load arrived this morning actually and I have to say they are all very happy and healthy looking. There are 3 particular sellers I tend to use and am yet to have any issues.

I think it depends who you deal with Pimpernel. The genuine nurseries who know their stuff and sell on ebay as a sideline are fine in my experience. I guess there is always a first time but its a risk I am willing to take as I have almost done an entire garden this year and would never have been able to afford to do so much otherwise!

It's a bit difficult to tell as the focussing button hasn't focused that well.
Any chance you could edit the post with better clarity shots ?
From here though it looks like you've only got annuals there :-(
