I have and their suggestion was to join grows on you - they couldn't find one either. You can see why I like it though it is beautiful. Thanks for trying anyhows. Does anyone even know if it has any other name perhaps?

That's what I was looking for... I shall continue the research though. Infuriating that they carry an article on this plant, yet its clearly unavailable - what's the point of that?! They probably suggested joining GoY because there's a 'leader' on the web for this plant, implying that GoY members grow it and there is a supplier for it - I followed that and its a dead end - no one's growing it and it's not available. Nice to have a new member anyway though...

Well, not done very good - this appears to be a ground cover Berberis, were you aware of that? No one seems to have it - the last supplier listed it as available via the RHS Plantfinder in late 2004, not listed since.

yes Amateur gardening said it was a ground cover - just what I wanted and sooo pretty, however thanks for looking and I will continue looking myself and if I find any I will let everyone know. I love this site already!

If you do find, I'll be interested to hear where - it appears to be evergreen, so very useful ground cover compared to Berberis Admiration and Berberis Bagatalle (though both of those are delightful during the spring and summer anyway)

Odd - doesn't seem to be on sale anywhere in the UK. The RHS has it listed as a plant name in their database only, cited in The Plantsman in 2010, apparently, but lists no suppliers for this plant. I found a photograph of it, but no cultural details. I guess this wasn't what you wanted to hear...
If it was featured in Amateur Gardening, perhaps you should contact them and ask them where you can get one, if they've done an article about it.
