Prune/Renovate Hebe - See picture.
I think this is a Hebe, i'm not sure what type(globe?), it has grown out of shape with holes in it, how would i go about pruning this plant to renovate it back to a uniformed shape and form?

Thanks Moongrower, hope your having a good weekend.
You see in the picture, to the left the form is good and in shape. When i prune, do you think i should just prune back the messy centre hard?
Any advice on hard pruning/hard pruning welcomed!
I have books on pruning (i'm not being lazy!), just haven't done it before so a am unsure :)

If it is one shrub you are going to have to prune it all back otherwise it will look very odd. When you do prune just try to keep a nice shape. You can cut back as far as you want and it should still regrow.

Yup it is a hebe and you can prune back hard in spring.
