Should be fine Adam...when they start to show and the loops are standing up and holding there own then its time to put them out in the veggie plot.. Poke a hole and drop them in as far as you can and fill the hole with water to wash the soil around them............as they grow dtraw the soil up around them as you would earth up potatoes

Hi Adam ~ it should be fine. when you come to plant them out puddle them in. the way i do it: but there are other ways: is to dig a small hole and hold the leek in place as you pour water in and then that carries soil in around the roots. they dont need planting deeply. as they grow you draw earth up around them to get the white lower part.
