Generally not but there is one strain of hard necked garlic that has viable seed - probably not what John grew though

Hi John if you still have sound garlic cloves then yes you can plant these. You can also sow garlic seed in a pan or shallow container but it will take a couple of years to get to the point of the seed being a solid garlic bulb.
